OUR LOCATION
The campus is a modern five story building, with full wi-fi access, entirely occupied by Discover English.
Our student lounge is located in the lower level of the building and is the perfect place to relax and socialise with people from around the world. Students have access to kitchen facilities, microwave ovens, a vending machine and computers. We also offer quiet lounge areas on every floor of the building to relax with your laptop and make use of our free wireless internet.
Our classrooms are bright, comfortable and spacious. Every room is individually air-conditioned.
HOW TO GET TO DISCOVER ENGLISH
Discover English is surrounded by excellent public transport, we are less than a block away from Southern Cross Station. Trams and bus stops are also easy to access. For current public transport timetables and Myki ticket information visit: www.ptv.vic.gov.au
Bus
Most buses in the city stop on Lonsdale Street. Routes 200, 201, 203, 207, 250, 251, 253, 302, 303, 305, 309, 318, 905, and 908. from Lonsdale Street walk towards Bourke St and then when you are on Bourke Street walk along for about 10 minutes. Discover English is up on level 7 of 628 Bourke Street.
Tram
Tram routes number 86 and 96 travel along Bourke Street and tram stop number 1 is very close to Discover English. Catch these trams in the direction of Waterfront City (86) or St Kilda Beach (96). Almost all of the other tram routes cross over Bourke Street. Get off the tram at Bourke Street and take either the 86 tram in the direction of Waterfront City or the 96 tram in the direction of St Kilda Beach. In both cases get off at tram stop number 1. For tram routes 48, 70, 75 and 109, get off at Swanston Street and walk one block up to Bourke Street. Take either the route 86 tram in the direction of Waterfront City or the 96 tram in the direction of St Kilda Beach and get off at tram stop number 1.
Train
From Southern Cross Station take the Spencer Street exit and walk for about 2 minutes towards Bourke Street. Wlk along Bourke Street for another couple of minutes and you will arrive at discover English (level 7 of 628 Bourke Street).
